Arbor Day
ArborFest is an annual tree planting to celebrate Texas State Arbor Day.
ArborFest is an annual tree planting to celebrate Texas State Arbor Day. This event occurs every year thanks to a partnership between the City of Frisco, Parks & Recreation and the Urban Forestry Board. This free event is open to the public, and usually is scheduled for a Saturday morning, late in October or early in November.

The Frisco Garden Club has made a commitment to plant at least one tree every year at ArborFest.
In November 2022, the Arborfest committee took on an additional festivity. In celebration of the "Cheers to 90 Years" Frisco Garden Clubs' anniversary celebration, our Club gave away a total of 90 live oak saplings. Anyone in possession of one of the 90 little trees is asked to share your photos to historian@friscogardenclub.org so that we can share its progress! Our hope is to celebrate our 100th anniversary with a whole forest of photos!
