Membership Information

The Frisco Garden Club is open to the public and anyone can join. We want you to "Bloom where you are Planted".

​

We meet the third Tuesday each month, September through May at 10am. Come as our guest to see if you want to join our club. 

​

Our club needs active members like you to maintain and improve our many gardens, projects and events. We are a vibrant collection of all skill levels and talents. You do not need to have a green thumb to be a member. There are many opportunities to learn as you participate in our gardens and events.

Our members are required to be active and participate in our projects, committees and events. Membership Dues are $35.00 per year.

Membership Requirements

Garden

Be a Host

Serve as a host/hostess, along with other club members, at one monthly meeting per year. Hosting duties at the meetings are:

  • Meet as a Committee prior to your month’s assignment

    • Determine theme and table designs/Centerpieces

    • Determine a reasonable budget for decorations, refreshments and/or door prizes; table favors are optional (the budget is split evenly between the hosts/hostesses for that month)

    • Present a brief Horticulture Report and Inspirational at the meeting

Join a Committee

Members are asked to assist on one of our Project or Standing committee(s) of your choice.  A list and descriptions can be found on our website.

FUN-raising

Participate in our Ways & Means project, the Wildflower Luncheon, by one or more of the following:

  • Chair a Luncheon committee OR

  • Make a minimum of $75.00 or larger contribution to the luncheon OR

  • Solicit a silent auction item or items valued at $50.00 or more OR

  • Create a silent auction basket worth at least $50.00 or more OR

  • Put together a Tablescape.  This can be done in groups of no more than 3
